In 2000 there were already many webcams on the net. One day, Leon decided and to make a webpage comprised of webcam links, and it was so successful that it turned into many pages! Many people wrote to say that they wanted to see live cams 24 hours a day. Leon, loving what he was doing, kept adding more and more links...

 

Today, on Webcamplaza.net you can find so many different links to webcams from all over the world. Many are live streaming webcams, some even have sound. There are also many photo cams which are photos taken from webcams around the world which update at predetermined intervals. While photo cams are not live, many have collections of images that you can view.

We update almost daily, and always try and have the best selection of live webcams for you to see.

Hmmm, good question! It varies from season to season. Probably the most popular webcams are the live hurricane cams from Florida during hurricane season. People seem to have an obsession with watching nature in her full glory wreaking havoc...

Webcamplaza.net has existed since the summer of 2000! In April 2000 we had our 1 Millionth visitor! Recently we just passed 2.5 Million!!!

In 2000 the goal was 1000 visitors per day. In 2000 we were called Webcamplaza.nl but we had some problems with our provider and in a matter of hours, lost our name, so we started over as Webcamplaza.net! Over time, our visitors increased.

 

Recently, our daily visits has really increased greatly. We have averaged 5000-7000 daily for the last few months. Today, our new goal is 10,000 visitors per day. Help us reach that goal, send in your links, tell your friends, and enjoy!
